Description

In today’s fast-paced and technology-driven world, the importance of STEM education cannot be overstated. STEM education equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to fuel innovation and tackle complex global challenges. It drives economic growth by developing a skilled workforce capable of advancing scientific and technological progress, securing a competitive edge in the global arena. In line with this vision, the Paskenta Nomlaki Foundationa philanthropic initiative of the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians, in partnership with Tepa, LLC, is honored to invest in the future by awarding one-time STEM scholarships of $20,000 to three degree-seeking, full-time students. Through this investment, we are contributing to building a future where innovation thrives, challenges are met with creative solutions, and progress knows no bounds.

The STEM scholarships serve as a financial incentive for high-achieving students planning to pursue a degree and career in the STEM field. This financial support helps offset the cost of higher education, enabling students to focus on academic and professional growth with greater financial stability. These scholarships also play a vital role in promoting equity and diversity within STEM fields by expanding access and opportunity for individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.
